A client of mine in the Hannover region is looking for 6 technicians to work on a CCS plant. Please see below for the details and descriptions.
 
Start Date: January
Contract: 4-6 Months (Freelance Contract)
Rate: To be discussed over the phone
 
x2 Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians
x2 Electrical Commissioning Technicians
x2 Mechanical Commissioning Technicians
 
- Instrument Commissioning Technician
 
- Inspect, calibrate, and configure instrumentation devices (pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors).
- Verify signal integrity and communication with control systems (PLC/DCS).
- Perform loop checks and functional tests for instrumentation circuits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Document calibration certificates and commissioning reports.
- Ensure compliance with instrumentation standards and safety regulations.
 
 
Electrical Commissioning Technician
 
- Install and test electrical systems, including switchgear, MCCs, and distribution panels.
- Perform insulation resistance tests, continuity checks, and earth bonding verification.
- Conduct functional tests on motors, drives, and electrical protection devices.
- Verify wiring against schematics and rectify discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and commissioning documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
 
 
Mechanical Commissioning Technician
 
- Inspect and verify installation of mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, piping systems).
- Perform alignment checks for rotating equipment and ensure correct tolerances.
- Validate lubrication systems and mechanical seals.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in corrective maintenance.
- Complete mechanical commissioning checklists and handover documentation.
- Ensure adherence to mechanical standards and site safety protocols.
